capacity of 40 to 90 tools. All machines can

also be optionally outfitted with a pallet

changer. "The HMF model series and

model HBF 110 can serve as a replacement

for older and worn out conventional

horizontal boring centres, providing not

only a fully-fledged replacement but

moving the technical quality and accuracy

of machining forward significantly thanks

to CNC control," adds Pavel Rak Jr.

Meanwhile, the HBT model series of

horizontal cross-slide boring centres offers

an interesting alternative on the market of

small and medium-sized horizontal boring

centres thanks to its modular structure and

two tailstock diameter variants – 110 and

130 mm. The machine is available in

movement ranges in the X axis of: 2,000 to

4,200 mm and with rotary, fully interpolated tables sized from 1,400 x 1,600 to

2,200 x 2,500 mm. Alternatively, the

machines can also be fitted with a fixed

table that can be complemented by

a variety of mountable rotary tables

depending on the intended application.

This year, one of our major customers had

us install model HBT 110 R with table size

1,400 x 1,600 mm, X axis movement range

of 2,500 mm and extendible tailstock with

diameter of 110 mm.

Another new addition to macmatic's assortment of horizontal centres are high-performance horizontal milling centres from the

HMG series, combining high rigidity, large

size and excellent dynamics with the option of

installing a pallet changer system. The machines are arranged crosswise, with spindle head

in box-in-box design, with a wide range of

rotary tables sized from 630 x 630 mm to

1,250 x 1,250 mm. ISO 50 spindles with

power of up to 48 kW and max. speed of

8,000 rpm enable a wide range of applications in high–with rotary tables with full

interpolation, direct measurement via

optical guides in all axes, full housing

coverage and an arm-operated tool magazine for 40 tools. Optional accessories

include expansion of the tool magazine to

up to 120 tools and addition of an automatic pallet changer. All macmatic horizontal

centres can be fitted with through-spindle

cooling with pressure from 20 to 70 bars

including pressure control, Renishaw

probes of choice and CNC control systems

by Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi based on customer wishes and

preference.

Oil Mist and Dust Collectors macmatic

Aspira

You can also purchase accessories to CNC

machine tools directly on the macmatic

website. macmatic Aspira collectors,

offered in 3 power variants, are particularly

popular. Customers appreciate their ease

of installation, maintenance and, above all,

low purchasing and operating costs. All

interior parts of the collector are washable.

The only consumable part of Aspira collectors is the HEPA filter; however, the filter is

optional and the device brings immediate

increases in environmental cleanliness

even without it. "We introduced Apira oil

mist and dust collectors onto the market

less than two years ago and there are

currently over 160 units installed in the

Czech Republic and Slovakia. Aspira

collectors marry efficient design, solid

performance, excellent quality and keen

price, exactly in line with the macmatic

philosophy," summarised Ing. Pavel Rak Sr.

In-stock Machinery as Response to

Market Demand

New customers interested in Akira Seiki

milling centres can see the reliability and

quality of the machines with their own eyes

thanks to a vast network of customers and

their references. Visiting a customer who

has been using a machine for many years

can often supersede several meetings

behind a conference table. Recently,

however, the quality and price of the

supplied technology have not been the

only parameters accentuated by customers:

the delivery time of the chosen machine is

becoming just as important. It is not

uncommon that a customer requires

a quick solution for their order and needs

the machine right now, if possible. Thanks

to new storage spaces that macmatic built

within its new headquarters in Lukov

u Zlína, the company can now respond to

these demands accordingly. "We continuously order best-selling models such as

Akira Seiki SV760 and SV1350 to keep

them in stock. We use standard, tried and

tested configurations with Heidenhain and

Mitsubishi control systems.

Model SV760 is specialised in machining

smaller parts made of any material, from

aluminium alloys to cast iron or stainless

steels. SV1350 is a very robust, powerful

and universal machine; its movement

range of 1,350 x 640 x 660 mm and spindle

power of up to 32 kW can surpass the

majority of the competition. The assortment

of in-stock machinery is complemented by

models macmatic V1020 eco and V1500

eco which we can deliver very quickly with

Heidenhain and Siemens control systems,"

adds Ing. Pavel Rak Jr.
