10 Years of Company Building and Brand Building in Cooperation with Taiwanese Suppliers macmatic was founded in 2008 as a family business built on individual approach to customers and high-quality counselling not only in the field of technical solutions but also with emphasis on return on investment.
"One of the pre-requisites for efficient production is choosing a machine that is assembled and arranged in a way that allows it to do its job without fault while saving money not only on purchase, but also during operation. For instance, the rigidity of the structure of our machines can bring savings in the number of tool inserts used. We can recommend to our customers a solution that will enable both technological and economic growth of the company," says Mr. Ing. Pavel Rak Sr. and adds: "The economic success of our customers is in our best interest, since an economically healthy customer can grow and invest again." Machinery purchasing is also closely associated with financial services - leasing and credit financing. Last year we began providing our customers counselling in matters of funding machinery purchases. We have developed successful cooperation with company SGEF, allowing us can arrange a loan or leasing as the customer requires. Currently, macmatic supplies Czech and Slovak market with Akira Seiki CNC milling and turning centres as well as CNC machine tools and accessories under its own brand name macmatic. "We introduced our own brand onto the market in 2013 in order to strengthen the ties between special 2018
the product, the services and the solutions we provide our customers," explains Ing. Pavel Rak Jr., commercial manager of the company. "Using our own brand also means a strong commitment to the quality of products and services provided." The portfolio of macmatic machine tools includes vertical milling centres, gantry milling centres as well as high-speed, five-axis milling centres and horizontal milling centres. The assortment has expanded this year with the addition of horizontal milling and boring centres for high -performance machining. "We choose our suppliers of machinery with care and prefer the services of specialised manufacturers who focus primarily on a specific branch of CNC machine tools. To ensure the quality of our products, the machines undergo quality inspection by macmatic technicians while still in the manufacturer's production plant. We are very careful when expanding our range of products," remarks Ing. Pavel Rak Jr. "We inspect not only the technical and qualitative aspects of the machines, but also the references and production plants of the manufacturer. That is why we established a permanent branch on Taiwan to perform quality inspection directly
during production. The experience of our technicians along with close ties to the suppliers of our machines have allowed us to better focus on the needs of the Czech and Slovak market; mutual cooperation with manufacturers even allowed us to implement several technological improvements." New macmatic Horizontal Milling and Boring Centres macmatic is expanding its assortment with 5 model series of horizontal centres designed for high-performance machining. The smallest representatives are table-type milling centres HMF without tailstock extension with rotary table sizes from 630 x 630 mm to 1,250 x 1,250 mm. The HMF series is followed up by a technologically related model HBF 110 R with a rotary table sized 1,250 x 1,250 mm and an extendible tailstock Ø 110 mm with extension length of 400 or 500 mm. All the above horizontal centres have a fixed column and a rotary table moving along axes X and Z. The machines are fitted with direct measurement on linear axes and offer wide variability of housings. Tool change can be done either manually or automatically with magazine
