The range of activities and sectors that

Enterprise Europe Network covers in the

Czech Republic is very wide. Therefore, in

2018 the network began focusing its attention within the context of Czech-Taiwanese

cooperation on a rather non-traditional

industry sector – cycling industry, which is

highly popular in both the Czech Republic

and on Taiwan. In autumn 2018, the 31st

annual international trade fair called Taipei

Cycle Show will take place. Its importance in

the field is evident from the number of

exhibitors and visitors. In 2017, the trade fair

hosted 1,170 exhibitors and was visited by

over 44,000 people from 97 world

countries, highest numbers coming from

China, Japan, USA, Korea and Thailand. The

trade fair is responding to the latest trends

and dedicates special attention to start-ups

offering innovative ideas in the world of

cycling, and exhibitors who integrate IoT

into the cycling industry. Fans of the sport

can therefore enjoy new experiences while

biking using advanced mobile devices,

cloud systems, etc. There has also been

much interest in electric bikes, whose sales

and popularity in the world continues to

grow.

Within its activities for Enterprise Europe

Network, the Technology Centre of the CAS

will organise a stand on the trade fair in

cooperation with TAITRA where Czech

companies will have the opportunity to

present their products. These companies

will have the chance to participate in

a cooperative meeting of companies,

organised under the auspices of the international Enterprise Europe Network. If you

Network and its activities and services, visit
