HARTING introduces the new Mini Pus-
hPull series and offers the ix Industrial® Et-
hernet interface for 10 Gbit Ethernet with
Cat. 6A in waterproof and dustproof de-
sign. The ix Industrial
®
Mini PushPull interfa-
ce, standardized to IEC/PAS 61076-3-124,
guarantees absolutely reliable transmissi-
on performance and optional PoE/PoE+
power. With a 30% smaller housing com-
pared to the proven HARTING PushPull
RJ45 solution, users can benefit from
a miniaturized data interface for deman-
ding applications. PushPull is the prefer-
red device connection technology when
it comes to excellent robustness combi-
ned with simple and process-safe operati-
on in a waterproof and dustproof design
to IP 65/IP 67.
Compact, rugged connectors are avai-
lable to integrate the device onto the cir-
cuit board, providing maximum stability
with five THR shield contacts. The conne-
ctors are available in three versions:
1. horizontal connector
2. angled vertical connector
3. vertical connector
All the connectors are optionally availab-
le in A and B coding for Ethernet and sig-
nals. The data contacts are designed as
SMD contacts. This enables device manu-
facturers to process connectors on prin-
ted circuit boards according to the con-
ventional remelting soldering process.
The auxiliary Mini PushPull housing,
which fits all matching connectors, is to be
mounted in front of the rectangular moun-
ting cutout when integrating the device
and connects the connectors on the cir-
cuit board, providing IP 65/IP 67 protecti-
on with the outside environment.
As regards the integration into the rack
and terminal blocks, the portfolio includes
PushPull bushings in A and B coding. The-
se can be easily and quickly mounted in
front of the rectangular mounting cutout
and, thanks to the integrated sealing, also
meet the IP 65/IP 67 protection standard.

rely seal unused connectors and device
interfaces.

Securely contacted connector connecti-
ons are a prerequisite for stable network
systems.
To ensure proper connection even in
challenging conditions, the PushPull con-
nectors are simple and intuitive to use. Se-
cure locking is signalled by an audible
click and the connection is released by
simply pulling on the ergonomically opti-
mised cover. To prevent unintentional dis-
connection, the connector can be locked
out with a safety ring.
