The main areas of MAFELEC compo-
nents and technologies that have now be-
en included in the portfolio of Turck, s.r.o.
include:
• Innovative power outlets, USB outlets,
230V outlets in rail design.
• Control boxes - push-button boxes
for outdoor and indoor use.
• Indication panels - standard indication
panels, custom indication panels.
• External lights - railway external
headlights, tail lights.
• Interior lighting - interior LED linear
lighting, interior LED spotlights.
• Power elements - power switches,
isolators, voltage and current sensors.
• Switching devices - panel buttons,
switches and joysticks, microswitches,
and limit switches.
• Safety features - attention pedals,
hand brakes, emergency stop buttons.
Its interesting projects include, for exam-
ple, equipping Paris metro vehicles (front
external lighting for 72 new Alstom train-
sets), interior and exterior equipment of
the NAT - Bombardier trains (controls in
the driver's cabin and in the passenger
carriages, front lighting, safety equipment
with brake indicators and VACMA pedals,
door signalling, etc.), external lighting for
the Newag Impuls 2 trainsets in Poland,
and many more.
Control cabin equipment
MAFELEC and STOPCIRCUIT have been
equipping the drivers' cabins of the lar-
gest rolling stock manufacturers in Europe
and around the world with control panels
and electrical cabinets for over 40 years.
The products are designed, certified, tes-
ted, and supplied in accordance with the
requirements of railway standards such as
UIC612, EN16186-2, EN 50155, and EN
45545/NFPA130.
The control and signalling devices, inclu-
ding various types of buttons, switches ra-
ted up to IP69k with a heat resistance of
up to 120 °C, durable LED indicators for a
12V to 110V DC power supply, switches
with up to eight positions for loads of up
to 16A, and the C22 series of joysticks
(mounting diameter of 22 mm) are known
for being robust, reliable, and configurab-
le. The C22 joysticks with a handle or ball
are offered with up to four control positi-
ons, each equipped with a dedicated NO
or NC contact, rated for voltages of up to
630V and load currents of up to 20A.
Other console products include signal
boxes for safety functions, power or USB
sockets with a life cycle of 5,000 inserti-
ons/removals and a rating of up to 2.4A
with an easily replaceable connector

Now Offered by Turck
Turck, s.r.o. has recently become a business partner of MAFELEC. The latter is, among
other things, a specialist in HMI on the railways in the field of control and signalling
functions. In general, however, it has over 60 years of experience with developing
and manufacturing high-quality specific products intended especially for applications
in the railway industry, industrial and agricultural equipment, nuclear energy, the defence
sector, and aerospace. Such a broad portfolio is possible thanks to the MAFELEC Team
Group, which includes MAFELEC itself as well as PETERCEM, COMTRONIC, TSL-ESCHA,
STOPCIRCUIT, and FULL ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS.
The M-Light illumination range includes standard
external LED headlights and marker lights, such
as the ML5-1/170. In addition, specific solutions
adapted to the design requested by the customer
can also be manufactured.
The M-Door series of buttons meets the needs of door control for users and gives visual and audible signals to
inform/warn passengers about the status of the door.
