He further explained that advanced tech-
nologies such as the Industry 4.0 system
make production both more efficient and
more environmentally friendly. "We didn't
dare to buy the building; nobody was in-
terested. But eventually we said that we
would purchase the former bakery buil-
ding even though at the time there was
not much need to increase the production
space. However, as the years came and
went, we found our production rising and
outgrowing the existing space. That is why
we decided to renovate three years ago.
The reconstruction took eighteen months,
and now we have an electronic production
building packed with modern technology."
As Vladimír Kubánek further stated: "The
reconstruction cost just under CZK 100
million. A third of it was funded from subsi-
dies, a third from our own resources, and
a third from a loan from Česká spořitelna.
For example, we used the Green Savings
Grant scheme. We have introduced a tra-
ceability system to track the origin and
use of individual components. Each ope-
rator now has a screen in front of him or
her and the entire process is centrally ma-
naged in our ERP system.

Development Testing Facility
In an effort to maintain the best possible qua-
lity of their products, MSV elektronika have
built a new development testing facility.
It is equipped with the latest technologi-
es for electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC) testing, voltage and insulation resi-
stance measurements, climatic chambers,
a photometry lab, a laboratory oven, and
oscilloscopes.
The services of the development testing
facility are available to both customers
and external partners. Whether you need
standard testing to specifications or cu-
stom test programmes, MSV elektronika's
expert team is ready to meet your specific
demands.
Using the test facility can help you redu-
ce the time-to-market, optimise producti-
on processes, and ensure that your pro-
ducts meet the highest quality and safety
standards. All this while complying with
the applicable standards and regulations.
After the measuring and testing, a test
report can be supplied to be used as input
for further work. The test reports are issu-
ed within two business days as a standard.
EMC Lab
We provide all users with the service of
EMC pre-certification testing to verify pro-
duct parameters before undergoing the
official certification process.
This service delivers significant benefits -
it validates any modifications made in the
course of product development, offers lo-
wer costs compared to a potential unsa-
tisfactory certification result, and provides
greater scheduling flexibility.
MSV elektronika specialises in railway
and traffic safety and signalling systems,
electronic and electrical devices for rail-
way vehicles, and much more. They also
have the capabilities and know-how nee-
ded to test any electrical or electronic
equipment, including power tools, elec-
tric and electronic toys, IT equipment
and more - all this thanks to the capabili-
ties and equipment offered by their faci-
lities.
Temperature and climatic testing
Climatic testing conducted in climatic
chambers capable of reaching temperatu-
res between +180 and –70 °C is usually
based on the standards applicable to the
relevant industry or type of test. These
standards define the test conditions such
as temperature, humidity, duration, and
other factors. Temperature and humidity
tests are both cyclical and at constant va-
lues with active power supply and control
of the product while the variables are con-
tinuously electrically measured on the
samples and the temperature on the test
samples is continuously monitored.
Optical tests
MSV elektronika also have a photometry
lab which measures and analyses the pro-
perties of optical systems precisely. The
equipment and methods used by the la-
boratory ensure high-quality assessment
for optical product development.
